What: LACDL's Law & All That Lagniappe Seminar
When: April 23-24, 2026
Where: Hilton Garden Inn Cajundome, Lafayette, LA
Law & All That Lagniappe is a brand-new take on a longtime LACDL favorite. This year, we’re heading to Festival International de Louisiane, the largest international music festival in the United States. Downtown Lafayette comes alive for five days with world-class music, incredible food, art, and culture - all free & open to the public.
And right in the middle of it, LACDL is hosting two days of practical, high-value criminal defense training.
The Seminar
Law & All That Lagniappe is intentionally eclectic, a mix of state and national speakers covering the full range of criminal defense practice. Think of it as a high-impact sampler: strategy, skills, and substance you can actually use.
Whether you’re a newer lawyer building your foundation or a seasoned attorney looking to sharpen your edge, this seminar is designed to meet you where you are.
What makes it different
- A relaxed but focused learning environment
- Diverse topics and perspectives
- Time and space to actually talk shop with other defense lawyers
- A built-in cultural experience just beyond the seminar room
Come for the CLE. Stay for the Festival International. Experience something uniquely Louisiana.
